I’m always a little nervous about eating at places near the historic city center, but this restaurant did not disappoint. The menu showcased the foods of the region and there was a great selection of wine as well.

July 2024 - six adults each ordered a different dish, and sampled each others'. Rarely, do I pause after the first bite with the thought that "Hey, this is reallllllly good!" but that was true for five of the six (didn't try the sixth). In addition, had a cool breeze in the outdoor seating after a 37C day. Small place, but well kept, and excellent service. All around definitely 5 stars. Eccellente! A few steps from Columbus' house, and then left up the street after going through the city wall gate.

Based on the reviews we went for the basil dumplings and the ravioli-ish plate. It was absolutely fantastic. The flavors of the dumplings were very culinary. Would highly recommend!
